A couple entries back, I posted a pic of two amigurumi figures that I was working on but didn’t reveal what they were for.  Now I can.  I am a huge fan of Felicia Day and her webseries The Guild (you also might know her as Penny from Dr. Horrible Sing-a-Long Blog or Vi on Buffy).  I had seen on  a couple of blogs where people had made amigurumi for certain fandoms (Star Wars and Star Trek mainly).  I set out to make them for The Guild characters.  I also knew that Felicia would be appearing this past weekend at Emerald City ComicCon and I would have the chance to meet her and give them to her.

Here are the six completed figures.  I’m mostly happy with how they turned out though the hair was really difficult to do.  Each figure took 3-4 hours to complete including making the clothes, hair, and accessories.

Last Friday rolled around and we headed off to ECCC.  I jumped into Felicia’s line and my bag of amigurumi.  I can not even tell you how nervous I was to give them to her.  I was afraid she’d think I was some really crazy wacky person (heck, maybe she did).

Here is Felicia and Amy Okuda (Tink in The Guild) with the figures.  Both ladies were really sweet and Felicia said that she would give the corresponding figure to each of the cast members.

I haven’t been working on art pages much the last week or so because I’m furiously working on another project that has a deadline of March 4th (or 5th or 6th – depending on when I want to give it to the person its for).  I won’t tell exactly what it is yet, but I’ll give you a preview:
